Verse
Blocks go here and bears go there Little toys need gentle care Cars roll home into their tray We make room for another day
Chorus
One toy, two toys, home we go Take our time and tidy slow Every little helping hand Makes a cozy toy-home land
Give the toy basket its own little parade.
Listen with a grown-up and point out the toys mentioned in the song. At tidy-up time, sing the chorus together as you put a few things away. There is no race: the words invite everyone to take their time.

Use the baskets, shelves, and toys from your own play space as inspiration. For a classroom, describe shared materials instead of individual children, and check that the words match the steps your group follows.
